Recording sick leave

In absentify, recording and managing various types of absences is simple and efficient. This guide provides a quick walkthrough on logging sick leave, helping you keep records accurate and up-to-date whenever you or a team member calls in sick.

Create a request



To log an absence due to illness, first click Create request from the overview page or click on the respective day(s).



Use the drop-down list under the menu item "Leave type" and select Sick leave.



You can also set the duration and enter the reason for the absence before you click Send request.



You should now be able to see your absence logged in the Overview page.



By default, absence due to illness does not deduct any absence from your holiday quota. An entry of sick leave can be made by the employee himself, their manager or any administrative user.
