Sync your personal Outlook calendar

One advantage of the seamless integration between absentify and the Microsoft 365 environment is the synchronization feature with the Outlook calendar. You don't have to worry about entering absences in both absentify and your Outlook calendar!

Synchronize Your Own Absences

The regular Outlook synchronization syncs the absences of the requester to their own Outlook calendar.

You can find this under Settings > Microsoft > Outlook Calendar Synchronization.

If the toggle is turned off, users will receive an email invitation for each absence request. They can use this invitation to add the absence to their Outlook calendar.

For example, Diego received the following email. When he clicks on Yes, it will be added to his Outlook calendar.

And that's it! Now your leave tracked in absentify will be automatically synced to your Microsoft Outlook Calendar, streamlining your workflow and allowing you to focus on your core tasks.
